Warranty Information
Zyxel offers warranty to the original end user (purchaser) that the product is free from any material or workmanship defects for a specific period (the Warranty Period) from the date of purchase. Please click Warranty Policy for more detail.
This warranty applies to any Zyxel products you have purchased from Zyxel or its authorized reseller/distributor. Our policy is to offer product warranties and to perform services only on products purchased from Zyxel or its authorized reseller/distributor, and only accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. The warranty periods stated below.

1. Limited Lifetime warranty: five(5) years from the date of purchase
2. External Power Adapter shall carry a strict three (3) month warranty. Any and all other add-on accessories supplied with any Zyxel product are NOT covered under any implied or statutory warranties.
3. Warranty extension plans* are available for the customers who need longer warranty coverage.
Zyxel Warranty for Hardware:Zyxel warrants to the original end user (purchaser) that the hardware portion of its product is free from any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use within specified warranty period (please see above warranty periods Table) from the date of purchase from Zyxel India or its authorized reseller/distributor. During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, if the product fails due to faulty workmanship and/or materials, Zyxel will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product or components. Any replacement may consist of a new or re-manufactured functionally equivalent product of equal value, and will be made solely at the discretion of Zyxel. Any repair or replacement will be rendered at an Authorized Zyxel Service Center. The replacement hardware need not be new or have an identical version, model or part. Zyxel may in its discretion replace the defective hardware with any reconditioned product that Zyxel reasonably determines substantially equivalent or superior in all material respects to the defective hardware. Repaired or replaced hardware will be warranted for the reminder of the original Warranty period. All hardware or part thereof that is replaced by Zyxel, or for which the purchase price is refunded, shall become the property of Zyxel upon replacement.
What Is Not Covered:those products that, in Zyxel's judgment, that have been subjected to abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, negligence, misuse, faulty installation, lack of reasonable care, Corrosions on PCB due moisture, salty environment or due to high humidity, repair, service, or use in any way that is not contemplated in the documentation for the product, or if the model or serial number has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed; Initial installation, installation and removal of the product for repair, and shipping costs; operational adjustments covered in the operating manual for the product, and normal maintenance; damage that occurs in shipment, due to act of God, failures due to power surge, and cosmetic damage; any hardware, software, firmware or other products or services provided by anyone other than Zyxel; While necessary maintenance or repairs on your product can be performed by any company, we recommend that you use only an Authorized Zyxel Service Center. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair voids this Warranty.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY:EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY SPECIFIED HEREIN, ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON-INTERFERENCE, ACCURACY OF INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, OR RESULTING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY Zyxel, ITS SUPPLIERS AND LICENSORS (IF ANY). TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY OF THE SAME CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, SUCH IMPLIED CONDITION, REPRESENTATION AND/OR WARRANTY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD REFERRED TO IN THE APPLICABLE "LIMITED WARRANTY" SECTION ABOVE. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY IN SUCH STATES. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Zyxel IS NOT LIABLE UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY FOR ANY LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCONVENIENCE OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER, WHETHER DIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFIT, ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, WORK SLOW-DOWN OR STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, DAMAGE TO OR FAILURE OF OTHER EQUIPMENT OR COMPUTER PROGRAMS TO WHICH Zyxel's PRODUCT IS CONNECTED, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA CONTAINED IN, STORED ON, OR INTEGRATED WITH ANY PRODUCT RETURNED TO Zyxel FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, OR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS) RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, RELATING TO WARRANTY SERVICE, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THE LIMITED WARRANTIES HEREIN, EVEN IF Zyxel HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE SOLE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF EITHER OR BOTH OF THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE IS, AT Zyxel's SOLE DISCRETION, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. THE TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF Zyxel AND THE CUSTOMER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTIES. Local Applicability:Above warranty liability is applicable ONLY for Zyxel products bought and used within India.
Zyxel shall not be liable for editorial errors or omissions contained herein. The information in this document is subject to change without notice.
Procedure to Claim RMA Service: By submitting a RMA service claim, Customer accepts and agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions contained herein. To request RMA service, contact Zyxel representative who will issue a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number.
Obtaining an RMA number by contacting Toll free technical support;
(1) Ticket Number will be issued by contacting Support Centre Toll Free Number 1800-102-9995. Ticket number can also be issued by RMA Department on email request to rma@zyxel.in
(2) Ticket Number will be issued on mail after device troubleshooting.
Zyxel Technical Support Centre will attempt to assist the customer in resolving any suspected defects in the product. If the product is considered defective, the customer has to take the defective product to Zyxel or the nearest Zyxel Authority Service Partner(ZASP) Service Centre provided by Zyxel technical support; and
Providing Zyxel/ZASP with proof of the original date of purchase.
Defective devices should be taken to Zyxel/ZASP within 1 month from the date that the RMA number becomes effective. No overdue defective devices will be accepted and this overdue RMA number will be closed automatically by the system. If the RMA service is still required, the customer should re-issue a new RMA number for it. The defective devices should be received in accordance with the RMA request of the customer. The additional devices, which are not in the request list, will be returned to customer without being processed by the RMA service.
