RF over Ethernet

Ethernet cable is easier to obtain than coaxial cable and low-cost, and is easy to install. The fiber splicing is not required.

Scalable Capacity

One Base Unit (BU) can support up to 8 Remote units (RUs). With the expanders, one BU can support up to a maximum of 64 RUs.

The ZoneDAS series is scalable by adding expanders, with three types available including FC, CC and FF. One FC or CC expander can provide 8 RJ-45 ports to link with 8 remote units (RUs), while one FF expander can provide 16 fiber ports to link with 16 RUs. One BU can connect a maximum of 8 FC, CC, or FF expanders.
