ZyXEL's Dual Platform ISDN Terminal Adapter Honored as
Hsinchu, Taiwan, December 24, 1999- ZyXEL Communications Corporation, the leading provider of Internet access solutions, today announced that its omni.net LCD Plus dual interface ISDN TA has been chosen by German MacWelt magazine as the top performer (highest 6 M�use) in its lab test on ISDN terminal adapters. The test results are outlined in the December, 1999 issue of MacWelt Magazine.
MacWelt's ISDN terminal adapters tests compared ZyXEL's omni.net LCD Plus against Acer's ISDN T50, Draytek's USB ISDN Vigor, Hermstedt's Webshuttle, and Sagem's Planet ISDN/USB. Results of the tests clearly showed that the omni.net LCD Plus outperforms the four competitors for its full-featured design, the fastest and most stable transmission, and fair price. Some futuristic features were also highlighted by MacWelt's editors such as its LCD Panel, call-bumping functionality, easy and friendly configuration software, especially its dual RS232 and USB interface support which provide an ideal solution for the "old" Mac users and those who are migrating to the new iMacs.
