Brand Value Skyrockets to US$334 Million

Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 3, 2008-- ZyXEL Communications (TSE: 2391), has been named to an elite list of successful companies for the sixth consecutive year. The world's leading broadband access solutions provider ranked eighth on the prestigious "2008 Top Ten Global Brands of Taiwan"listing. The list is based on brand value. This year the ZyXEL Communications' brand value jumped to US$334 million (NT$10.5 billion). The Brand Value Certificate Award was presented at the TICC (Taipei International Convention Center) in Taiwan by Mr. Ying-Jeou Ma, President of Taiwan, to the distinguished enterprises.
