ZyXEL Announces Vantage Central Network Management Suite

New Vantage Allows Rapid Deployment of ZyXEL Devices, Minimize the Cost of Management and Maximize Device Efficiency

Hannover, March 12, 2003 -- ZyXEL Communications Co., (TAI: 2391.TW) world's leading broadband access solutions vendor, today announced that it is conducting a live demonstration of its new Central Network Management Suite, Vantage, at CeBIT 2003 starting today. The demonstration of the solution is taking place at ZyXEL's booth (Hall 15, D38) at CeBIT in Hannover.

Vantage is a cost-effective, browser-based global management solution that allows an administrator from any location to easily configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot ZyXEL devices located worldwide. With its powerful and scalable features, Vantage is a must for organizations of all sizes that deploys ZyXEL devices.

Vantage separates usage and management of ZyXEL's comprehensive range of devices, allowing end-users to fully enjoy the benefits of their devices without worrying about the technical hassles such as configuration, deciphering a log, or upgrading new firmware.

Furthermore, by using Vantage an administrator can ensure consistency and compliance with all setting policies as well as constantly monitor all devices and act immediately if things go wrong.

Vantage provides comprehensive yet easy-to-use functions that make it powerful. One-Click VPN allows administrators to create a Virtual Private Network (VPN) by simply clicking a device and dragging a "tunnel" to another one. Firmware upgrade becomes easy as administrators can simultaneously download device firmware from Vantage to multiple devices located anywhere.

With Vantage, managing geographically dispersed accounts is also simple via Device and Account Monitoring function. Availability
Vantage Central Network Management VPN, the first edition in ZyXEL Vantage Suite, is scheduled to be available in mid-March 2003. Vantage VPN now supports ZyWALL 1, ZyWALL 10, Prestige 652-11, and Prestige 650R-11. And more models will be managed through this software.
