Zyxel Networks empowers non-profits with technology donations, driving change throughout communities

Supporting digital transformation and unlocking efficiency for 120 non-profits across Taiwan, with more than 1,100 networking devices donated in four years

HSINCHU, Taiwan, November 10, 2025—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, partnered with the Zyxel Foundation for the fourth consecutive year to donate networking products and volunteer services to non-profit organizations across Taiwan. To date, the program has given back over 1,100 networking devices to 120 organizations in four years, supporting the digital transformation for non-profits and living up to the company’s commitment in driving social impact with technology.

Aside from hardware devices, this year marks the program’s first-time inclusion of Zyxel Networks’ Nebula Cloud Management Professional Pack licenses, which boosts the operational efficiency and network management capabilities for non-profits, bridging the digital divide for organizations with limited resources.

Starting with local community services, this year Zyxel Networks’ volunteers lent a hand to Boyo Social Welfare Foundation’s Jianshi branch in Hsinchu, helping optimize the connectivity of the digital learning environment for kids in remote mountainous areas. Volunteer support also extended to the Ruth Society for Disability Services in Zhongli, Taoyuan, where volunteers helped upgrade the entire campus network and equipment, providing a stable connection to enhance special education and care for the students.

Voices from the community

Shih-Chun Chen, head of IT at the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation added, "We are incredibly grateful for the support from Zyxel Networks and the Zyxel Foundation. This year's donation went beyond network equipment to also include the Nebula Cloud Management solution. This significantly simplified the network management and maintenance processes for all our locations. With volunteers came here to help with installation and testing, we felt their genuine commitment and passion to supporting education in remote areas. These upgrades have brought a notable increase in efficiency to our Jianshi branch, allowing our staff to focus more on their core mission of providing educational and support services."

"We have long struggled with unstable internet speeds and chaotic, aging network cabling," said Chia-Huai Chiu, Executive Director of Ruth Society for Disability Services. "Thanks to the support from the Zyxel Foundation and Zyxel Networks, we have completed a full campus network rewiring and equipment upgrade. This has dramatically improved our overall connection speed and stability, enhancing the quality of our daily teaching and administrative work. It also allows for smoother use of smart assistive devices and digital services, creating equal opportunities for disadvantaged groups to connect with the digital world."

A commitment to local action and social responsibility

In addition to the company’s continuous support for social welfare organizations like the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families and the Hondao Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation, the program has expanded its scope this year with environmental non-profit partnerships. These include Environmental Quality Protection Foundation and Trust in Nature Foundation, broadening the program's impact from social welfare to ecological protection and sustainability education.

By mobilizing employee volunteers, Zyxel Networks and the Zyxel Foundation are turning purpose into actions that start with local communities. This approach allows them to understand the real-world networking challenges faced by non-profits and translate their professional expertise and product advantages into meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives.

"Through our sustained efforts, we aim to assist non-profit organizations in their digital transformation, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of their services," said Denise Lin, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Zyxel Group. "We believe that technology can be a powerful tool to connect communities and care for the underserved. We’re committed to keep consolidating resources across the Zyxel Group and delivering more public welfare projects that make an impact on society.”
