Product recycling library

Zyxel recognizes its role in environmental and social matters and is committed to strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. It is our responsibility to ensure that Zyxel products are recycled in a legal manner with minimal impact over the environment. In relation to our WEEE activities, Zyxel has taken measures to reduce waste arising from our products and improve their performance, and we continue to assess opportunities for further improvement. In a few countries, Zyxel is registered directly with the national WEEE Registry and/or the WEEE collective scheme and is taking direct financial and administrative responsibility, ensuring that adequate measures have been put in place to collaborate with distributors that comply with the national WEEE legislation. Finally, as a manufacturer, Zyxel has labeled its products with the appropriate WEEE logo and provides relevant information about the WEEE legislation to end-users.

Our recycling program is a cornerstone for conserving resources, reducing waste, and advancing the circular economy. For our ICT products—including accessories, batteries, and packaging—we partner with internationally recognized collection systems. We provide funding and support to carry out recycling programs with partners such as BellandVision GmbH, ecotic FUNDACION, UFH Holding GmbH, REMA SYSTEM, Stichting OPEN, Elker Ltd, Beyondly Global Limited, and Dansk Producentansvar.

Our results are steadily improving. Based on FY2024 reported data, our overall recycling rate reached 25%, with a total recycled weight of 834.155 tons.
