Zyxel Networks launches GS1915v2 switch series to solve small business installation headaches

Nine-model portfolio combines flexible power, mounting and management options to help small businesses set up networks faster and adapt to changing needs

HSINCHU, Taiwan, October 13, 2026—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, today announced the GS1915v2 series of Gigabit Smart Managed Switches, designed to make network installation and management simpler for small businesses and the partners that support them.

Small offices, shops, cafes and clinics rarely have purpose-built network rooms. Switches may need to be installed under counters, in storage spaces or back offices, where access to power, ventilation and mounting space can be limited. In some cases, even adding a single device can require extra site work. With nine models offering different port counts, power options and fiber uplinks, the GS1915v2 series gives businesses greater flexibility to fit networking into the spaces they already have.

Zyxel GS1915v2 Series offers 8- to 26-port Gigabit Smart Managed Switches with NebulaFlex, PoE+, fanless, rack-mount, and DIN-rail options for SMB networks.

Solving everyday installation challenges

The GS1915v2 series is designed to fit a wide range of small business environments without requiring costly changes to the site. This flexibility comes from a combination of product options and practical design choices:

  • A portfolio for different installations: Nine models provide 8-, 10-, 16- and 24-port options, with PoE and non-PoE choices to match different power needs. Fiber uplinks support reliable high-speed connections over longer distances, while fanless models enable quiet operation in noise-sensitive environments.
  • Flexible power and cabling: Six PoE models offer 60W to 180W power budgets, delivering power and data to IP cameras, WiFi access points and door access systems over one cable. The GS1915-8PDv2 can also be powered via connecting to a PoE Switch, helping businesses install the switch where a power outlet is not available.
  • Versatile mounting: Desktop, wall, rack and DIN-rail mounting options allow the switches to fit into existing spaces without extra building work.
  • Quiet operation: Fanless and smart fan designs keep everyday business networks running smoothly and silently.

Making network management simpler

The series also gives small businesses a choice between cloud and local management.

  • Scalable cloud management: Support for Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud platform gives small businesses free access to essential remote configuration, real-time monitoring and centralized management as part of the platform’s core capabilities. As businesses scale, they can upgrade to advanced management without having to reinvest from scratch.
  • Expanded management capabilities: In addition to a comprehensive set of Layer 2 management features, the series adds enhanced ACL and Dynamic VLAN capabilities than its previous generation, strengthening access control and simplify network segmentation.
  • Clearer device status: A redesigned front panel replaces dense text labels with simpler icons and a cleaner LED layout, making network status easier to check at a glance.

Reducing the impact of every deployment

The GS1915v2 series also introduces changes designed to reduce waste and improve shipping efficiency.

  • More efficient packaging: The compact design and optimized packaging allow more units to be shipped per pallet. Shipping efficiency improves by up to 198% compared with the previous generation1.
  • LED control: A dedicated button allows users to switch off front-panel LEDs, reducing unnecessary power use and light disturbance in living spaces, home offices and other low-light environments.
