Zyxel Networks empowers MSPs and growing businesses to do more with less through latest Nebula update
HSINCHU, Taiwan, September 1, 2026—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, today announced the Nebula 20.10 feature release, helping managed service providers (MSPs) and mid-sized businesses to simplify network operations, resolve issues faster and support more users and sites with limited technical resources.
As businesses grow, network admins can become weighed down by repetitive tasks. Employee changes, password lockouts, issue diagnoses, and hardware replacement often require manual intervention or an on-site visit. For MSPs, this growing workload can place pressure on technical teams and erode margins. Nebula 20.10 turns many of these manual processes into efficient workflows, giving admins simpler access management, clearer network visibility and faster ways to respond when problems occur.
Simplifying secure network access
Nebula 20.10 introduces new identity-based access capabilities that make it easier to give the right users secure access to the right services. Key capabilities include:
- Nebula Identity Federation Service (NID FS): Admins can integrate Nebula Control Center with third-party identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and Okta. Employees can use their existing workplace credentials to securely access company WiFi and VPN services without creating separate accounts.
In multi-tenant environments such as shared offices, users from different organizations can connect to the same WiFi using their own company credentials.
- Centralized identity management: MSPs and IT teams can federate multiple identity providers through Nebula and roll out access policies across an organization or branch site at once, reducing repeated setup, orphaned accounts, and account administration overhead.
- Secure passwordless access: Passkey login is now available for credentials created through Nebula Cloud Authentication Server (NCAS), reducing password reset requests while improving protection against credential-phishing attacks.
Proactively resolving issues
The Nebula 20.10 release also gives admins a clearer view of complex network environments and helps MSPs streamline investigation across multiple customers and sites.
- Advanced network topology: Nebula provides a real-time visual map of how devices are physically connected. It can now also display configurations including VLAN segmentation and link aggregation, helping teams verify setups and troubleshoot.
- Centralized MSP event logs: MSPs can view event logs from multiple organizations and sites in one place, removing the need to check each environment separately.
Reducing downtime during device replacement
Nebula 20.10 also simplifies hardware upgrades or replacement, alleviating admins from starting everything from scratch.
- One-click device replacement: Admins simply unplug an existing device and connect its replacement, with configurations and licenses transferred automatically. This removes the need for a complete reset and helps reduce network downtime.
“IT teams today are expected to support more users, sites and services without additional resources,” said Inchen Lin, AVP of Zyxel Networks’ Intelligence Cloud Center. “Nebula has matured alongside our customers over the past ten years, shaped by the real challenges faced by businesses and MSPs. Nebula 20.10 continues that journey by removing more of the repetitive work that slows technical teams down, so they can focus on the work that matters the most.”
Some Nebula 20.10 features require a Nebula Pro Pack or MSP Pack license. For more information, please visit https://www.zyxel.com/nebula
