Zyxel Networks brings tri-band WiFi 7 within reach of small businesses

New NWA50BE MAX and NWA90BE MAX access points combine WiFi 7 performance with simple cloud management for cost-sensitive deployments

HSINCHU, Taiwan, October 19, 2026—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, today announced the NWA50BE MAX and NWA90BE MAX, two new tri-band, triple-radio WiFi 7 access points (APs) designed to give small businesses, home offices and professional users a practical way to step up to ultrafast WiFi 7 without adding unnecessary cost or complexity.

For small businesses, older WiFi networks can struggle when customer devices, point-of-sale terminals and IoT equipment are all competing for bandwidth, causing slower checkouts, failed mobile payments or buffering security camera feeds. As they grow or expand to multiple locations, managing important network upgrades can put additional pressure on lean IT teams. The NWA50BE MAX and NWA90BE MAX combine tri-band WiFi 7 with simple cloud management at an accessible price, opening the door to a faster, more capable WiFi 7 experience for small businesses.

Built for practical WiFi 7 deployments

Both APs are designed to deliver the full power of WiFi 7 with the following features:

  • Triple-radio WiFi 7: Both models are capable of delivering up to 9.3Gbps across simultaneous 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz radios. High-bandwidth devices can use the 6GHz band while older equipment remains on 2.4GHz or 5GHz, keeping wireless traffic flow smoothly and reducing congestion.
  • Smart Mesh MLO: Combining mesh networking with Multi-Link Operation (MLO), Smart Mesh MLO can create wireless links between APs across all three bands. This makes it easier to extend coverage where running new network cabling is impractical.
  • Scalable cloud management: Support for Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud platform gives small businesses free access to essential remote configuration, real-time monitoring and centralized management as part of the platform’s core capabilities. As businesses scale, they can upgrade to the platform’s advanced management offerings without having to reinvest from scratch.

Business-grade wireless security

The NWA50BE MAX and NWA90BE MAX are also designed to give businesses more choices over how they power and deploy their wireless network, while also providing security and access controls suited to customer-facing and professional environments.

  • Flexible access control: The NWA90BE MAX supports captive portal capabilities for controlled guest WiFi access and branded login pages, while IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS support help keep employee and guest access separated and protected.
  • Lower power consumption: With a maximum power draw of 15W, the APs can use up to 38% less power than comparable triple-radio WiFi 7 APs on the market1.
  • Adapter-free option: Both models are available with or without a power adapter. Businesses that already have a compatible USB-C or PoE power source can choose the adapter-free version, reducing cost and avoiding unnecessary electronic waste.
