The leading Russian university’s administrative building needed to provide access to visitors and required new equipment to prevent overloading the existing network. The university’s goal was to create a single, resilient wired and wireless infrastructure. One of the key elements of building a digital campus is a wireless network based on the latest WiFi 6 technology. The system administrators of Samara State Medical University indicated that Zyxel Networks was chosen because their products met all the requirements for stable operation of access points, the possibility of easy integration into the existing network structure, all connection schemes were clear, and configuration and management of access points did not cause any problems. Last but not least, competent technical support and accessible technical documentation helped seal the deal. The centralized network management system allowed the school’s IT specialists to remotely monitor and configure various components and network segments effectively and easily. With this successful installation, the university decided to expand Zyxel’s solution to all buildings of the university.
