The School Complex in Chocianow launched a project to deal with the heavy workload and improve the low capacity. The school’s partner, System-3, chose Zyxel’s access points, switches and ATP firewall to modernize the infrastructure. The backbone of the upgraded network is based on fiber optic cabling with a 10-Gigabit capacity, ensuring data transfer and program use are smooth every time. The network switches were replaced with the highly efficient XGS2210 series L3 Aggregation Switches and GS1920-24HPv2 series Smart Managed PoE Switches. In addition, XS3800-28 L3 Aggregation Switches were installed for easy switching between intuitive Nebula cloud management and standalone management. The network was then secured by the ATP500 Firewall, providing a robust first line of defense against attacks. To address the biggest challenge – the slow internet speeds due to the large number of supported devices – NWA5123-AC HD APs were deployed. These use transmit beamforming and multi-user MIMO technologies to provide reliable high-density WiFi connections for numerous clients at the same time. Thanks to the new network, students are now enjoying a better learning environment and developing skills that meet future job market needs.
