ZyXEL Unveils P-334W Home Gateway to Support Multimedia Application and Home Internet Protection

ZyXEL P-334W lead the industry to support Media Session Routing Technology (MSRT), offering home users high quality multimedia application and media bandwidth management

Both models support Media Session Routing Technology (MSRT), while featuring home Internet protection and SOHO Guard network security. For families with young children, the home Internet protection of ZyXEL P-334W enables the "day-of-the-week" or "time-of-the day", as well as "budget control" limits. In addition to timing control, parents can also define keywords for filtering inappropriate Web content from the minorities.

For mobile users, the IEEE 802.11g wireless access point built into ZyXEL P-334W can transfer data as fast as 54Mbps; and it also supports the industry-standard WPA, IEEE 802.1X user-authentication and WEP encryption for enforcing security on wireless transmissions. On the security front, the firewall built in ZyXEL P-334W ensures ultimate security for home networking.

Availability
ZyXEL P-334W is scheduled to deliver by the end of April, and will be distributed through ZyXEL's global authorized dealer network.
