ZyXEL Showcases End-to-End Solutions at Broadband World Forum Europe 2008

Hsinchu, Taiwan, September 23, 2008-- ZyXEL Communications (TSE: 2391), a world leader in broadband access solutions, will participate in the Broadband World Forum Europe (BBWFE) 2008 exhibition, one of Europe's premier conference and exhibition events for the telecommunications industry, from Sept. 30 until Oct. 2 in Brussels, Belgium.

The exhibit will demonstrate how ZyXEL broadband solutions and technology can help telco operators and service providers to deliver more comprehensive services and enhanced user experiences. ZyXEL representatives will be in booth 254. They will focus on two areas -- IP Access Network Topology (COE) using the theme "Innovative Service Enabler – Profit through Differentiation," and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) using the theme "Broadband Digital Living – Step into the World of Multi-Service Distribution." Company experts will demonstrate ZyXEL‘s capabilities in offering end-to-end solutions for both central office and clients users.

Area COE: Innovative Service Enabler – Profit through Differentiation

ZyXEL representatives will present the company's innovative central office equipment designed to satisfy different network topologies demands from telco operators and service providers. The equipment provides fast and easy-access technology including Carrier Ethernet, WiMAX, PON and xDSL.

Area CPE: Broadband Digital Living – Step into the World of Multi-Service Distribution

The ZyXEL booth will host a digital living scenario to demonstrate how ZyXEL's comprehensive products provide sophisticated networking services, home monitoring, entertainment, and personal communications in home office, living room and/or entertainment room settings. Through a series of differentiated consumer products, including WiMAX CPE, IAD, IP SIP camera, Set-top Box, storage and VoIP phone, subscribers can utilize multiple services through a single device.
