Prestige 653HWI sports built-in DES/3DES hardware accelerator; when compared with other software-based VPN products, the performance of Prestige 653HWI is just unmatchable in terms of IPSec VPN data transfer.

Furthermore, Prestige 653HWI is loaded with the bandwidth management feature taken from high-end routers, which assures the quality of service when the users are running VoIP or multimedia applications. The ZyXEL Prestige 653HWI has three different configurations to suit the business needs of different ADSL markets: the models support ADSL over POTS, ADSL over ISDN, and ADSL over U-R2 respectively, and the WLAN function is available as a built-in feature or a separate option.
