ZyXEL Introduces ZyWALL SSL 10 Integrated SSL-VPN Appliance for SMB

With a friendly web portal, employees can easily and securely access e-mail, applications, web servers and other resource on the corporate network from any location through the ZyWALL SSL 10.

ZyWALL SSL 10 provides powerful capability to allow remote users to seamlessly access  available resource on corporate networks by transparently pushing a downloadable thin client (ZyWALL SSL-VPN SecuExtender) to users' desktops or laptops. This allows remote users to access corporate applications or shared files using standard Web browsers. ZyWALL SSL 10 supports 10 VPN sessions simultaneously and is upgradeable to support 25 concurrent VPN sessions.

Better yet, the ZyWALL SSL 10 fits seamlessly into any network topology and can be easily deployed at the network gateway as a Firewall/SSL-VPN one-box solution, or alongside a third-party Firewall as a secure remote access solution. Seamless integration with ZyWALL UTM appliances enables businesses to deploy ZyWALL SSL 10 alongside a ZyWALL UTM for enhanced security with Anti-Virus, IDP, Content-Filtering and Anti-Spam protection.

The ZyWALL SSL 10 supports various backend user repositories, including Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP and RADIUS, to work with existing user database in a corporate network.

The ZyWALL SSL 10 provides the ability to define objects such as user groups, network address ranges or applications. When security policies change, the administrator can modify the pre-defined objects and the changes are propagated automatically to the rules without additional configuration effort.

Remote access enables more users to access a corporate network from potentially risky end points and devices. The ZyWALL SSL 10 provides endpoint security features to increase security by detecting the presence of required processes (such as virus scan, personal firewalls, OS patch levels, registry settings, etc.) on the client PC and is equipped with an automatic browser cache cleaner.

Install the ZyWALL SSL 10 is easy. The simple Setup Wizard allows administrators to select one of the two installation scenarios to reduce the initial setup procedure to less than 10 minutes. The user-friend web-based configuration screens also help administrators to easily configure the device and reduce administration cost.
