Germany's PC Professionell Magazine Recognizes ZyXEL ZyWALL 2 and ZyWALL 70 Firewalls

In its March issue, Internet Professionell reviewed 11 small firewall devices from ZyXEL, Linksys, Billion, Netgear, D-Link, 3Com and Checkpoint. In the test with 1800 simulated hacker attacks conducted by the magazine, ZyXEL ZyWALL 2 beat all contenders and seized the coveted "Editor's Choice" title with its rock-solid security features.

"A good hardware firewall should offer 100% protection from all hacker attacks, and ZyWALL 2 takes that for granted." The editors of Internet Professionell remarked, "ZyWALL 2 does deliver a convincing performance with a whole range of features that you don't usually see even on more expensive products."

Additionally, in the exhaustive examination performed by Internet Professionell for the May issue, ZyWALL 70 surpassed other midrange and high-end firewalls, such as Fortinet Fortigate 60, Sonicwall Pro 3060, Watchguard Firebox III 500, Checkpoint Sun Fire V60x, Symantec Gateway Security 5420, etc., and captured the "Budget-Recommendation" title effortlessly. The reason, as the editors put it: "It has the best price-performance ratio of all tested systems, and its FTP throughput is extremely outstanding." As for the final scoring, ZyWALL 70 reached the 3rd place in the review.
