Security standard for consumer grade relevant connectable products AUSTRALIA
This statement of compliance has been prepared by, or on behalf of, Zyxel Communications Corporation, who is the manufacturer of the below product. The statement of compliance is made in accordance with the Cyber Security (Security Standards for Smart Devices) Rules 2025, authorised by the Cyber Security Act 2024.
We confirm that our smart devices comply with the Australian Cyber Security Act 2024 and the Security Standards for Smart Devices Rules 2025, effective from 4 March 2026.
Password security
- Each device is shipped with a unique default password, or requires the user to set a password during initial setup.
- No universal or easily guessable default passwords are used.
Vulnerability disclosure
- We provide a clear channel for reporting security vulnerabilities.
- Please contact our security team at security@zyxel.com.tw
- All reports will be acknowledged and investigated, with updates provided on resolution progress.
Security updates
- We commit to providing security updates for our devices for a defined support period.
- The support period for each product is published on our website and communicated at the time of purchase.
- End-of-support dates will be clearly announced in advance.
