Zyxel Networks Helps Turkish College Realize Uninterrupted and Safe Hybrid Education

Transitioning to hybrid education was a unique challenge for the college. The existing network was prone to disruptions during distanced learning and prompted the school to upgrade the entire infrastructure. The school enlisted the help of Zyxel Networks to modernize its network infrastructure, allowing students to access learning materials on campus or at home. The new network needed to provide enough bandwidth for high-quality and low-latency multimedia streaming. Zyxel’s top-notch ATP firewall is used to safeguard cybersecurity, manage VLAN and works as an AP Controller. The GS4600-32F switch features dynamic routing and simplifies complex networks. The powerful GS2220 switch features advanced traffic control that provides greater agility and more effective traffic management. Designed with dual-optimized antenna, Zyxel WAC6103D-I access points were deployed to reduce inter-floor interference. The AP supports combined data rates up to 1.75Gbps and advanced load balancing and smart-client steering technology. Thanks to Zyxel’s high-performance wireless solution, the school upgraded the problematic network and now offers high-quality distance education for all four campuses.
