Zyxel Networks launches trio of APs to help MSPs target growing outdoor market

Ruggedized WiFi solutions deliver fast, reliable connectivity in challenging outdoor environments, while a dedicated point-to-point device provides up to 5km of out-of-the-box coverage

HSINCHU, Taiwan, June 18, 2026—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has expanded its range of ruggedized, outdoor wireless access points to help managed service provider (MSP) partners meet the growing demand for fast, reliable connectivity in challenging environments.

The trio of devices is designed for use in large, industrial or semi-industrial locations, smaller businesses and homes, and where wireless connectivity needs to reach places a significant distance away from the main coverage area. All three can be managed using Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud platform, making them easy for MSP partners to deploy and to subsequently monitor and optimize WiFi performance for customers.

The WBE665S can provide ultra-smooth and reliable WiFi 7 coverage in a truly weather-resistant chassis , while the NWA55AX PRO and PTP models are ideally suited to smaller outdoor and industrial sites, hospitality venues such as cafes, bars, restaurants, or people’s homes.

The WBE665S is a WiFi 7 access point with smart antenna that can make use of 6GHz frequency to provide ultra-fast connectivity and optimized performance. IP67-rated, it can operate in extreme temperatures of -40˚C to 70˚C, and is resistant to dust and water, making it ideal for industrial sites, warehouses, stadiums, educational campuses and city WiFi deployments in regions that allow outdoor use of the 6GHz frequency.

The NWA55AX PRO provides multi-gigabit WiFi 6 speeds of up to AX3000 for responsive and reliable outdoor access that is also affordable. It is IP55-rated to provide reliable and weather-resistant everyday operation for smaller industrial sites and campuses, and for businesses or home workers who need extended coverage.

The NWA55AX PTP solution is a paired set of point-to-point access points that provide a direct link over distances of up to 5km out of the box. This device addresses the fast-growing market for ruggedized access points capable of supporting speedy and dependable external connections. It is ideal for education campuses, stadiums and event locations, holiday resorts and public areas such as railway stations or airports.
