Zyxel Enables Students at Russian School to Access Online Materials Anywhere on Campus

There’s little more romantic than the Trans-Siberian Railway. Twisting its way 9,300 km across the Russian countryside, it’s the longest rail line in the world. Operating and maintaining it has always required a small army of workers. Ever since 1930, many of the workers behind the Trans-Siberian Railway as well as train infrastructure across the country have been educated at Tikhoretsky Railway School. Although it could deliver capable workers to the industry, the technical school was having trouble delivering access to its online learning materials. Now, however, after a visit from a Zyxel partner, it’s full steam ahead. Here’s what happened.

We’d already had a positive experience with Zyxel, so when the team from [local system integrator] Paradigm suggested we utilize equipment from them, we simply checked the functionality of the proposed devices and the price then signed a contract.
