Zyxel Creates Network To Help Swiss Facility Turn Waste into Energy

KEBAG (Kehrichtbeseitigungs-AG) is a combustible waste management facility located in Zuchwil, a municipality in the Swiss canton of Solothurn, which disposes of waste from 209 municipalities in the cantons of Bern and Solothurn. The operation processes waste generated by the area’s 473,000 inhabitants in its four incinerators. When the time came to modernize the network servicing its control system, KEBAG turned to ZyXEL regional partner Tschan Informatik. The ZyXEL switches and security gateways installed by Tschan Informatik keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted operation of this vital service.
