ZyXEL Unveils All New 54Mbps WLAN Solution Series

(Hsinchu, October 22, 2003) ZyXEL Communications (TSE:2391), world's leading broadband access solution provider, today unveils its complete ZyAIR Series 54Mbps WLAN product line, which consists of routers, access points, and versatile end-user network interface cards. With its compliance to the IEEE 802.11g specification and built-in security features, the all new ZyAIR-G Series is capable of providing users with high-performance connectivity and industrial-strength network security.

The ZyAIR 11g solutions sport a comprehensive security structure, including WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) and IEEE 802.1x user authentication that assures user of data safety and privacy. In addition, ZyXEL will be providing users with free IEEE 802.1x client software for further network protection. (WPA and IEEE 802.1x client software will be supported in the November revision.)
