ZyXEL Recognized by Global Views Monthly as 1st Place in CSR Awards

ZyXEL Receives the CSR Award for the Second Consecutive Year


Hsinchu, Taiwan, March 12, 2009 -- ZyXEL Communications (TSE: 2391), the world's leading broadband access solutions provider, today announced its latest honor as the first place in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities) Awards in Group B of technology enterprises from Taiwan's Global View Magazine. Ranked by Commonwealth Magazine as the fourth place in 2009 Taiwan Corporate Citizenship Awards, ZyXEL received its second CSR Award this year.   

ZyXEL, a responsible enterprise, has been acclaimed by awards ranging from professional, technical to environmental care categories. The company had also completed the establishment of a "Green" electronic product management system, a greenhouse gas inspection and verification system, as well as EuP and other environmental policies. In addition, the company also set up a cooperative green information system to closely monitor the impact from raw material, production, shipping and disposal processes, while bringing up the recycle rate to over 90%.
