ZyXEL Products Chosen By Bell Atlantic to Expand Its ISDN Product Line

Bell Atlantic InfoSpeed Stocks ZyXEL Products and Offers $50 Instant Rebate

ANAHEIM, CA, June 30, 1997 - ZyXEL Communications, Inc. announced today Bell Atlantic will offer the omni.net ISDN terminal adapter and Prestige 100 ISDN remote access router to its residential ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) customers. Bell Atlantic is offering both ZyXEL products with a $50 instant rebate through its residential ISDN sales, provisioning and service center, Bell Atlantic InfoSpeed.

ISDN is an all-digital network technology that combines voice, data and video signals on a single telephone line, and transmits them at speeds up to 128 kilobits per second (Kbps). The omni.net ISDN Terminal Adapter
The ZyXEL omni.net offers simultaneous analog calls using two of its analog ports. Users can connect a combination of any two analog devices, such as telephone, fax machine, modem and answering machine. The omni.net allows users to send or receive data to or from a modem, talk on the phone or send and receive faxes at the same time �V all using one ISDN line.
