ZyXEL Introduces P-2602H-DxA Series ADSL2+ VoIP IAD for Small Offices and Homes

Hsinchu, August 15, 2006 -- ZyXEL Communications (TSE:2391), world's leading broadband access solutions provider, today unveils its P-2602H-DxA series ADSL2+ VoIP IAD designed for small office and home users to enjoy high-speed Internet access while enjoying VoIP applications through high-speed ADSL2+ connection.

The P-2602H-DxA series is an ADSL 2+ VoIP IAD complied with standard SIP voice protocol (RFC 3261) for Internet phone services. Users can still use the 2 phone ports simultaneously even when ITSP provides them with only one SIP number. By providing this convenient feature to the end-users, service provides get the opportunity to create more revenue.

The ICSA-certified ZyNOS operating system ensures state-of-the-art SPI firewall protection especially against DoS attacks. Thus the P-2602H-DxA series provides the first line of defense against hackers, network intruders, and other malicious threats. In addition, IPsec VPN helps ensure secured transmission between two sites, allowing secure connection between telecommuters and branch offices without expensive lease lines.

The P-2602H-DxA series enables users to allocate network resources while guaranteeing Quality of Service (QoS). Network Bandwidth Management increases productivity and efficiency by tailoring a system to specific demands such as time-sensitive VoIP and multimedia applications.

  • P-2602H-D1A  ADSL2+ VoIP IAD over POTS
  • P-2602H-D3A  ADSL2+ VoIP IAD over ISDN
  • P-2602H-D7A  ADSL2+ VoIP IAD over U-R2
