ZyXEL Integrates Ekahau Site Survey Tool for Wi-Fi Equipments
Hsinchu, Taiwan, August 24, 2010 –ZyXEL Communications, the world’s leading broadband access solutions providerand Ekahau Inc., the worldwide leader in high performance Wi-Fi-based Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), today announced that ZyXEL integrates the Ekahau Site Survey (ESS) Wi-Fi network planning and survey tool into supporting ZyXEL Wi-Fi access points and antennas.

ESS is an easy-to-use software tool for professional Wi-Fi network planning, site surveys and administration. ZyXEL has worked with Ekahau to integrate its products characteristics into the ESS, giving users the ability to design and analyze their networks based on specific capabilities of the ZyXEL devices, and leverage the advanced features of and best practices offered by ESS. ESS allows network administrators to automatically determine optimal locations and configurations for the ZyXEL access points, verify and optimize the network, and quickly troubleshoot network issues.
