The dual-band mechanism enhances performance and signal coverage with 50% improvement thanks to the reduced traffic congestion and optimal band utility.

Wireless network security is critical especially in public environments. The new NWA5120 Series adopts a two-tier protection mechanism with SSID and Layer-2 isolation, and up to 8 SSID are offered to allow configurations in compliance with different VLAN, Wi-Fi security and authentication policies. The Layer-2 isolation enables more sophisticated security that prevents multiple visitors on the network from seeing and communicating with each other.

Unlike the conventional way that hides bulky routers above the ceiling, the “smoke detector” design allows the devices attached to ceilings or walls, though visible, without affecting the interior décor. The NWA5120 Series is also a PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) Access Point that offers internal and optional external antennas to enhance the wireless performance and minimize dead spots.
