Zyxel Nebula Solution Transforms Jeju Hotel from Dated to Elevated
When building a network for a large hotel with multiple rooms, it's essential to centralize the entire network for efficient management. Additionally, separating the network for different users and deploying suitable products is important to ensure smooth usage. Zyxel stepped in to revamp the network at the Jeju hotel, enhancing network management and providing seamless experiences for guests. Previously, the hotel encountered network issues due to the installation of basic routers in guest rooms and public spaces, which proved insufficient to handle the high volume of visitor traffic. To offer smooth wireless connectivity with optimal coverage, WAX610D and NWA90AX WiFi 6 APs were deployed to handle common area traffic with multiple users connecting to the network simultaneously. Additionally, the WAC500 AP was installed on the ceiling in each guest room to create a seamless WiFi environment. Besides, all WiFi names were unified under a single SSID to simplify network management. The roaming function automatically reconnected devices to nearby WiFi networks, eliminating the need for manual reconnection each time. Zyxel's Nebula cloud networking solution was adopted, enabling centralized device management and real-time monitoring of the entire hotel network. The new network at Jeju hotel sets a high standard for efficient management, showcasing how a high-performance network can take guest experiences to the next level. Guests now enjoy silk-smooth WiFi experiences; while IT administrators are on cloud nine with the easy-peasy interface that Zyxel serves up.
