Zyxel Communications, a leading supplier of secure broadband networking and Internet connectivity products designed for Broadband Service Providers, is seeking a Finance & Operations Analyst to support financial planning, month-end reporting, business analysis, and operational execution across the organization. This hybrid role combines financial and accounting-related responsibilities with cross-functional operational support and selected business development initiatives, helping the company improve reporting, evaluate business performance, and support growth opportunities.
The Finance & Operations Analyst will collaborate with finance, operations, sales, and management teams to prepare reports, analyze trends, support monthly close and reporting processes, and provide analytical support for commercial and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple functions in a fast-paced business environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, forecasts, and analyses related to revenue, expenses, margins, and overall business performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to evaluate actual results against plan and identify key financial drivers.
- Analyze pricing, profitability, customer performance, and revenue trends to support financial planning and business decision-making.
- Assist with monthly-end reporting and month-end close activities, including account review, reconciliations, expense tracking, and validation of financial data.
- Prepare monthly management reports, KPI dashboards, and performance summaries for leadership review.
- Maintain and update financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards used for ongoing planning and performance analysis.
- Conduct customer, business, and market analysis to assess commercial opportunities, customer needs, and growth potential.
- Support business development initiatives through pricing analysis, proposal support, business case preparation, and related commercial reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the execution of operational, customer-related, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical summaries based on financial, operational, and commercial findings, and recommend improvements to reporting accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with accounting-related processes, including reconciliations, expense tracking, and month-end reporting support.
- Ability to interpret financial, operational, and commercial data and translate findings into clear business insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting business development, commercial analysis, or customer-related initiatives is a plus.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
