Despite Colombian government’s efforts in digitalization, internet access is still significantly limited or has very low penetration in some areas. In response to this situation, the government initiated numerous development projects to accelerate the closing of the internet gap.
IP Technologies joined forces with the Colombian Ministry of Information Technologies to expand internet coverage throughout the country.
Incorporating Zyxel’s OLT1408A, PMG5617GA, and a centralized network management system NetAtlas, IP Technologies was able to deliver free, high-quality internet to 13 municipalities in the south of Colombia.
