New Network Helps Turkish Foundation Give New Hope to Kids with Cerebral Palsy

The Spastic Children's Foundation of Turkey, which provides the widest range of services for people with cerebral palsy in the country, attaches great importance to technology in meeting the educational needs of its students. Recently, with its existing network equipment reaching the end of its life cycle, an upgrade was in order. Moreover, with the numbers of users and connected areas growing, the foundation was looking for an easy-to-use solution. Given those criteria, its system integrator, MEB Bilgisayar, knew Zyxel’s Nebula solution was precisely suited for the project due to its easy-to-use interface and cloud networking technology, which promised more efficient management for the foundation’s IT staff. An army of WAC6103D-I and NWA1123-AC PRO 802.11ac access points, alongside XGS1930-52HP and GS1920-48HPv2 smart managed PoE switches, was deployed throughout the organization’s training and rehabilitation centers, ensuring stable and high-performance wireless connectivity and providing a superior connection experience for staff and students. With the client now able to manage its entire network from a single center with the Nebula platform, MEB Bilgisayar GM Mustafa Nur says the network upgrade had proved a tremendous success. “With Nebula,” he explains, “the network is stable and strong, and our IT team can resolve any problems quickly from anywhere.”

The key reason we prefer Zyxel is that the management interface of its Nebula platform and products is completely cloud-based. This saves our time that can be used for other tasks. Thanks to the renewed infrastructure, our users are highly satisfied with the high-speed connectivity.
