Office Networking Tips

Question:
Can information be intercepted during a wireless transmission?

Answer:
WLAN uses two security mechanisms to protect data. One is the hardware-based Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology, which scrambles data to prevent intercepted data from being readable to unauthorized hackers. Another is the software-based encryption from WEP which enhances security and access control.
