We’re looking for a hands-on marketing professional who is motivated and effective communicator and planner with wide knowledge and experience in channel digital marketing. The Channel Marketing Specialist will work closely with our channel sales, product managers, and the corporate marketing team to perform channel marketing campaigns. This role has primary responsibilities for eCommerce marketing programs, tradeshow events management, sales promotions, partner portal management, social media advertising, and channel marketing budget management.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
  1. Plan and execute channel marketing campaigns to support the growth of the company products and solutions; communicate details of these campaigns to sales, market development managers, and partners
  2. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns on Google, Amazon and social media including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter
  3. Measure and report results of marketing activities and campaigns
  4. Occasionally Implement traditional marketing activities, such as tradeshow events and printed materials
  5. Track Marketing POs and the internal channel marketing budget
  6. Interact with sales, product management, vendors and customers to determine needs and provide solutions
  7. Proofreading online content for style and grammar
  8. Minimal travel required
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; major in Business or Marketing Communications preferred
  2. Minimum of 5 years related working experience; high-tech industry preferred
  3. Strong written, oral communication, and proofreading skills
  4. Teamwork with sales, product management and outsourced agencies
  5. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  7. A fast learner who is comfortable with the high-tech industry
  8. Strong familiarity with Facebook, Google Adwords, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn and other new and emerging social media platforms
  9. Amazon marketing experience
  10. Some experience of using marketing automation tools is desirable
  11. Organized and detail oriented
  12. Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize workloads

We are looking for a talented and hard-working professional who can fill in the role of Tier 3 support engineer. The selected candidate will address advanced pre and post sales technical cases and serve as the liaison between our customer and our development team. Other responsibilities include product quality assurance, setting up network environments to replicate customer problems and training. Our customer base is Telephone companies and Internet Service Providers. Focus for our support revolves around DSL, Ethernet, PON, Wifi, VoIP, TR069 and IPTV.

 

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
  1. Address advanced pre and post sales technical cases and support projects for key account customers
  2. Provide resolutions to technical issues for customers
  3. Setup network environment to replicate customer issues
  4. Create technical tickets to report validated issues to Zyxel R&D and provide resulting resolutions to customers
  5. Engage with customers who are evaluating the Zyxel products to ensure a smooth experience
  6. Travel to customer’s locations for the purposes of troubleshooting and training
  7. Support product managers by testing products for features and performance
  8. Support our Sales team by addressing technical inquiries from customers via phone, email or by travelling onsite for more in-depth technical discussions
  9. Support our Marketing team by setting up products and solutions demonstrations at Telco and ISP events
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Must possess in-depth knowledge of the following: TCP/IP Protocol, OSI Model and its application in broadband technologies, LAN and WAN Networking, Routing and Switching and VPN/Firewall.
  2. Must also have general knowledge of the following: DSL technology, PON technology, Ethernet technology, TR069, IPTV, Windows, Linux, OSX.
  3. Degree or IT certification (BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, CCNA, MCSE, Network+ etc.)
  4. 5+ years of technical support experience preferably on broadband products and Telco/ISP applications
  5. Good verbal and email communication skills
  6. Flexibility on work schedule
  7. Productive, detail oriented, organized, and team Player

The successful candidate is able and willing to wear dual hats of sales prospecting and account management in the support and recommendation of Zyxel’s products and services. He or she will be client focused with solid SMB/B2B experience, networking, security and wireless industry knowledge, understanding and passion. Direct experience with VAR’s and distribution is advantageous, with a proven track record of fulfilling deals and delivering high levels of client satisfaction. It is incumbent to bring to the role an entrepreneurial spirit, sense of urgency, team orientation, desire to win, and a strong sense of purpose in supporting our customers business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Focuses on outbound call activity to current list of accounts and potential leads in order to generate sales for all product lines.
  2. Achieves revenue objectives by executing pre and post sales execution ensuring the customer gets the right product at the right time with the right level of service.
  3. Delivers and executes: sales order management, order fulfillment, product support, product sample distribution, inventory checks, product recommendation, revenue and account tracking and reporting.
  4. Acts as post-sales account interface, providing periodic check-ins, being the point person for account issues, feedback, upsell opportunities, all in close coordination with the sales lead.
  5. Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams across Zyxel, customers, and third parties to achieve high levels of campaign execution, service excellence, and client satisfaction.
  6. Identifies any account issues or friction points, and drive resolution.
  7. Develops opportunities –prospecting, account growth, build proposals.
Skills & Qualifications
  1. 3 years of inside VAR sales success, with experience in the networking industry.
  2. Strength and passion in sales and/or account management.
  3. 3 years of experience executing partnerships and sales campaigns.
  4. Highly developed phone skills with experience in a call matrix environment.
  5. Meet and exceed minimum phone activity metrics.
  6. Detail orientated and process driven.
  7. Ability to rigorously identify, define, prioritize issues and resolves them by applying creative problem solving.
  8. Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools.
  9. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  10. Computer literate and basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  11. Travel requirement will be 10% or less.
