Built with standardized components such as Intel® x86 CPUs and networking ICs, the SDA3032SS supports third-party programmability. This integrated design allows service providers to load their own Networking Operating System (NOS).
The open and disaggregated architecture of SDA3032SS gives service providers added resilience by allowing them to combine hardware and software from third-party vendors. This maximizes agility when adopting new technologies or upgrading to new services.
All-In-One PON design ensures scalability
The All-In-One PON interface of SDA3032SS enables service providers to configure and operate under ITU-T standard mode when connecting GPON, XGS-PON, or Combo G/XGS-PON transceivers or under IEEE standard mode when connecting EPON, 10G-EPON, Combo 1G/10G-EPON, or 10G Active-Ethernet transceivers. This empowers service providers to maximize investment efficiency by using the economic GPON transceivers in the early deployment phase and later migrate to higher-speed transceivers when market demands emerge.
Carrier-grade hardware design guarantees a redundant and durable network
The SDA3032SS features a carrier-grade compact design with 2 RU height and a shallow 260 mm depth, allowing it to fit any ETSI rack. A combination of wide operating temperature, all-front access interfaces, and hot-swappable dual DC power supply gives service providers maximum flexibility in deployment locations, from street cabinets to fully equipped data centers.
