Networking Tips

Question:
What kind of threats are out there?

Answer:
Many network security threats today are spread over the Internet. The most common include malware, (viruses, worms, and Trojan horses), spyware and adware that snoops on your computer and slows it down, and intrusion by hackers.
All of these threats can result in data being intercepted and stolen, and this in turn can lead to identity theft, where a person's security credentials are stolen, enabling someone else to impersonate them.
Other threats include denial of service attacks that can bring your network to a halt.
