Plug-and-Play Design with Speed up to 200 Mbps*
The ZyXEL PLA-402 v3 provides a stable high-speed access solution to utilize the existing coaxial house network. Unlike the traditional ways to build the network with complicated wiring, users can now easily plug a pair or more PLA-402 v3 into the coaxial outlets; whereas one connects to your computer or set-top box, and the other to the modem or router for Internet access and multimedia streaming. Without software or additional wire installation required, service providers can save installation costs for expanding the paid video-on-demand, channel-on-demand and other services.
Compliant with the HomePlug AV standard, the PLA-402 v3 can transmit data at up to 200 Mbps* and co-exist with HomePlug 1.0; it allows you to share network resources and enjoy Internet access through secure high-speed data connections over the coaxial network in the house.
 
Built-in Noise Filter for Stable CATV and Network Environments
Since the Cable TV and PLA-402 v3 use the same coaxial cable for data transmission, the built-in noise filter can minimize jamming and therefore enable users to enjoy video streaming and CATV instantaneously.
 
QoS for High Definition Video Streams
The advanced QoS features common to ZyXEL's HomePlug AV Series are ideal for service providers to deliver quality multimedia services such as high-definition video streaming, high-speed Internet access and VOIP.

Green Product with Lower Power Consumption
The new-generation PLA-402 v3 reduces power consumption over 22% comparing to previous Powerline Ethernet Adapters; and when there is no Ethernet link present, the PLA-402 v3 will enter the Standby mode that reduces energy consumption for up to 57% comparing to other adapters without this feature.
 
Setup Button for Easy Network Security Setup
Users can easily set up a secure connection between the PLA-402 v3 and other HomePlug AV products within 2 minutes. With just a push on the Setup button of your PLA-402 v3, you can complete security setup on your Powerline network instantly.
With the 128-bit Data Encryption Security (AES) feature, the PLA-402 v3 provides secure network connection for Internet access and network resource sharing. Just enjoy fast Internet surfing experience and secure file transfer and leave the hassles to the PLA-402 v3.
